Accounting and Business Analyst:
Position Summary:
The accounting and business analyst is responsible for certain aspects of our overall accounting and corporate administration function, including maintaining accurate accounting records, processing invoices and expense reimbursements, analyzing accruals, and maintaining and improving internal control structure. The accounting and business analyst will also be involved in forensic control testing related to the investment adviser compliance program and other various special projects and will have direct interaction with the chief financial officer.
Desired skills and experience include:- 3+ years experience in accounting, financial services experience also a plus
- Advance proficiency in Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills, with ability to identify and evaluate alternatives
- Self-motivated with initiative to identify areas requiring improvement
- Extremely detail oriented
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
